Women of Passion:

What an awesome topic. In 2009, Pastor asked the congregation to sow an intentional seed and ask God for a blessing. Being obedient, I sowed a seed and asked God for a financial blessing. The purpose of my request was for God to enable me to provide a financial blessing to Hope Cathedral. “It is more blessed to give than to receive”

There are many testimonies where God has provided for my family. Have you ever known someone who really trusts God? I do. This was the confidence I had in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. “For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their prayer....

Prayer time and my believing in God to answer that prayer began.

I work in the Finance area of my company and there were no open positions in 2009 or 2010. In March 2010, I was called into the office and given an awesome promotion in title and money (still no open positions) I said to my boss God is good. This was my prayer to God that was answered.

The Bible is filled with God's promises. The promise verses are the fuel for believing God. Those promises are unlocked with the key of believing in prayer. The Holy Spirit links verses of Scripture, through our meditation and prayer, to our needs, to people, and to opportunities.

Therefore, women God is the greatest giver of all. Oh! I forgot the most important thing I kept my promise to God and was a financial blessing to Hope Cathedral.

I think that's awesome! God gives seed to the sower. I'm always blessed when I hear your testimony and that of BFloyd, because in both cases, you were asking for more for the sake of the kingdom, in both cases He blessed you with your request, and in both cases, you followed through. Bishop I.V. Hilliard has said, when we ask God for more resources for His kingdom, we're asking Him to make of us "man" that He can use to bless others. In doing so, we are the pipe that God flows through, but the pipe gets wet too!

Thanks for sharing!

Praise report!!! Yes I agree that God can do anything and everything. Three job offers came over the phone since I asked. God confirmed his word with signs, letting me know which offer to accept. I signed a contract in December to start a new job on 1/24/11. The financial increase is significant. I declare the chains of debt be loosed in 2011, in Jesus Name. Dream again and speak the promises, it's powerful.
